Residential Care: We've been shortlisted!

At CHD Living, we’re all dedicated to working together to help improve our people’s quality of life – through creating comforting, attentive environments, providing a high standard of care and encouraging regular social interaction with family and friends. Making people happy and keeping their best interests at heart are at the core of our values, and gaining recognition for the work we do makes it all-the-more worth it.

We were absolutely delighted to discover that we’d been shortlisted for the Residential Care category in the LaingBuisson Awards. This has come at an especially positive time for us, since we’re currently preparing for the opening of our latest residential facility, Brownscombe Lodge and Cottage.

As a team we’re dedicated to instilling our family-orientated ethos into daily life at CHD Living, putting it at the core of our care offerings. To suit the most individual of needs, we deliver a home-from-home experience for our residents so that they can continue to live their life as they wish, whilst receiving on-site support. Those who wish to stay in the comfort of their own home are visited by one of our Longdene carers who will devise a care plan around the individual’s personal and lifestyle needs.

Jon, our COO, works at the very heart of CHD Living; his passion lies within the care we provide, as well as the community spirit we’re proud to have created. Speaking about our shortlisting, Jon commented: “It’s an honour to have been shortlisted for this award. We have always worked tirelessly to establish a culture of care and compassion which spreads beyond the confines of the facilities themselves. We see CHD Living as very much a community and we extend this ethos to our staff, residents and their families. We strive to ensure we offer a whole range of services to meet the needs of our Surrey community and commissioners of services and are delighted that the hard work and dedication of our entire team has been recognised in this way”.

We can’t wait for the awards evening, which will be taking place in November. Keep an eye on our social media activity for updates!
